This Gandhi Jayanti, Kanpur Darshan has organised a free Light & Sound Show for all. A projection show will highlight Kanpur's rich history and culture. Along with Kanpur's present and future, it will also showcase its mythical and historical past.
Constructed in the late 19th century during the British colonial era, the Phool Bagh is well-known among the locals for its monuments of freedom warriors, which inspire visitors to visit at least once. These include the likes of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, BR Ambedkar, and Mahatma Gandhi.
Situated inside the grounds of Phool Bagh, Gandhi Bhavan is a testament to the city's illustrious history. It now forms an integral part of Kanpur's rich history and draws interest from both locals and visitors!

This monument was built with halls that are modelled after European structures and have a western architectural style. Gandhi Bhavan replaced the name King Edward Memorial Hall, which had been in use before Indian Independence. The hall underwent a lengthy period of change before becoming the home of the Kanpur City Museum, also known as the Kanpur Sangrahalaya.
