Kanpur University Is All Set For Udyamotsav 2025 To Celebrate National Start-Up Day!

Every year on January 16, National Startup Day is observed to honour the contribution that startups make to entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, independence, and cooperation amongst various stakeholders, including investors, mentors, the government, and others. 

India will commemorate the fourth National Startup Day this week on January 16, 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the event in 2022 to commemorate the Startup India initiative's sixth anniversary.

Udyamotsav 2025 At Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University:

On January 16, National Startup Day, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University (CSJMU) Kanpur, in partnership with the Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Innovation Foundation, will host the Udyamotsav 2025 program.

The only university in Uttar Pradesh offering this program is CSJMU. The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education, Government of India, are organising this program. For this initiative, 25 startups from all throughout the nation have been chosen.

Udyamotsav 2025:

The Udyamotsav 2025 initiative seeks to encourage young people to pursue entrepreneurship. They must be given the knowledge and abilities needed to launch their own business. Additionally, these initiatives will foster an entrepreneurial culture. These programs teach young people technical and vocational skills.

Startups will also get a chance to showcase their companies to a select group of investors during live pitch sessions at Udyamotsav. Investors from a wide variety of backgrounds, including impact, corporate, venture, and angel investors, will attend the summit.

Key industries including technology, fintech, healthtech, edtech, sustainability, agribusiness, consumer goods, etc., will be used to group the pitches.
