Kanpur peeps, Govindpuri station is all revamped and set for inauguration. It will now be virtually inaugurated on May 22 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Divisional Railway Manager Rajneesh Agarwal witnessed the preparations at Govindpuri station. This footbridge, which is the longest and widest in the division, is blocked until its inauguration.

The work completed to revitalise Amrit Bharat stations will be officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will use a video conference to formally launch it.

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Govindpuri station now has a number of contemporary amenities. These include modern terminal buildings and facilities, as well as automated stairs. On the platforms, tiles, drinking water supply lines, and washing lines have been installed. For the convenience of the travellers, automatic vending machines have been placed. Additionally, the division's longest and widest footbridge has been constructed. Under the same plan, stations at Panki Dham and Anwarganj have also been repaired.

The inauguration will be attended by MPs, MLAs, and other public officials. A patriotic theme will guide the program's organisation. Students are going to be invited. They will honour veterans and their families.
