

Kanpur travellers heading towards Delhi-NCR have a new overnight rail option to look forward to. Indian Railways has approved a daily Mail train between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal, connecting Kanpur with the National Capital Region through an overnight service.
The new service, Train No. 14153/14154 Kanpur Central–Anand Vihar (T)–Kanpur Central Mail, will cover 428 km in each direction.
The train will depart from Kanpur Central at 8:40 pm and reach Anand Vihar at 4:50 am the next morning, with a scheduled journey time of 8 hours 10 minutes.
On the return journey, Train No. 14154 will leave Anand Vihar at 11:25 pm and arrive at Kanpur Central at 7:25 am.
The new daily train will have commercial stoppages at Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri and Ghaziabad.
For Kanpur residents, the overnight timings offer another option for travelling towards Delhi and the wider NCR region, while also improving direct connectivity for passengers along the route.
