On December 31 and January 1, the traffic police made adjustments to the traffic system to make sure that the city's residents could celebrate the New Year without any issues.
DCP Traffic Ravindra Kumar claims that diversion has been issued in numerous locations from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on January 1 and from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. on December 31. Only after verifying the diversion should anyone be heading to Bada Chauraha, ISKCON Temple, and Ganga Barrage respectively.
It will not be possible for cars travelling from Kotwali Chauraha, Naveen Market, and Muir Mill Tiraha to Bada Chauraha or Z Square Mall to proceed straight there. From Thaggu Ke Laddu Tiraha, these vehicles can turn left to reach their destination, passing via Bhargava Hospital Chauraha and DJ Gate Kachhari Chetna Chauraha.
The DM office gate will be the only entrance for buses, cars, and e-rickshaws travelling from Meghdatu to Bada Chauraha via Sarasaiya Ghat. These cars will pick up and drop off passengers at the DM office gate and park on the side of the road between Sarasaiya Ghat Chauraha. No vehicle of any kind will be able to go towards Bada Chauraha from Shivala Tiraha.
It will be impossible for cars and e-rickshaws from Karset Chauraha, Sadbhavna Chauraha, and Kotwali Chauraha to travel past Somdatta Plaza. At Somdutt Plaza, cars can be parked and people can be picked up and dropped off.
