Extended passenger services from Motijheel to Kanpur Central will soon begin thanks to the eagerly anticipated Kanpur Metro Rail Project extension. A crew from CMRS came to Kanpur for a vital second round of safety inspections as part of the last preparations.
To perform a thorough examination of the metro area between Motijheel and Kanpur Central, including a careful examination of the tracks, tunnels, and stations, a six-person CMRS team travelled from Delhi. In order to make sure the recently built metro line satisfies all safety regulations, the crew will assess its safety standards.
The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety will conduct a thorough safety assessment as part of the upcoming inspection phase. Once operations start, the CMRS team will evaluate the safety precautions taken at all metro stations and trains to guarantee the welfare of passengers.
The much anticipated expansion of Kanpur Metro Services will formally begin if these evaluations are successfully completed and a No Objection Certificate is issued. The extension is all set to add 5 new stations - Chunniganj, Naveen Market, Bada Chauraha, Nayaganj, and Kanpur Central.
Stay tuned for more such updates!
