Kanpur’s green push has come with a message that goes beyond planting trees. The ‘Go Green Kanpur’ campaign, launched by Muskuraaye Kanpur, began with a plantation drive at the Aroham Happiness Centre, bringing together conversations around nature, wellness and everyday happiness.

Senior Ayurvedacharya Dr Vandana Pathak highlighted the connection between trees and traditional medicine, while sharing a simple message: spending time with elderly family members can be one of the most meaningful forms of happiness.

Aroham Happiness Centre aims to connect people with nature while promoting a more positive and responsible lifestyle. Its founder, Dr Umesh Paliwal, said the plantation drive is part of that larger vision.

Muskuraaye Kanpur founder Dr Sidhanshu Rai also announced plans to develop Aroham from a tourism perspective, potentially giving Kanpur another nature-and-wellness attraction.

The initiative also included a visit to the upcoming Divyambar Wellness Centre, being developed on the lines of wellness spaces in Bengaluru and Haridwar. The campaign's organisers will support the centre as a social partner.

For Kanpur, the message is clear: going green is not just about adding trees—it is also about creating spaces where people can reconnect with nature, community and each other.
