More about the big move
Up until now, the Swedish furniture giant has primarily focused on western and southern India, with physical stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. However, with the latest move, the brand is aiming at establishing a nationwide presence by rolling out services to Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ludhiana and Varanasi. Additionally, to speed up deliveries, Gurugram also saw the opening of an IKEA distribution centre earlier this week.
