Following directives from the state government, district magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh will oversee a major celebration on Monday, April 14, to mark the anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth.
With the theme "Our Constitution, Our Pride," the celebration will take place over 15 days, from April 14 to April 28, and will include both governmental and non-governmental educational institutions as well as a variety of activities in both rural and urban areas.
As part of the cleanliness initiative, all administrative bodies and development blocks carried out extensive cleaning operations on Sunday, before Ambedkar Jayanti. This included painting, repairs, decorations, and lighting arrangements at program venues, parks, memorials, and other important locations.
Officials and employees will present flower tributes to Babasaheb's statue at the Collectorate auditorium to kick off the birth anniversary festivities. In addition to talks regarding Dr. Ambedkar's achievements and personality, the program will include lectures on his philosophy and his important contribution to the creation of the constitution.
