After visiting Kanpur on March 23, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath departed with a plan for the city's growth.
1. He requested a proposal to bring International Green Park Stadium back to its former splendour.
2. CM requested that headquarters be built at the divisional and district levels. In order to facilitate meetings and problem-solving, CM directed that all divisional and district level personnel establish their offices in the same facility.
3. Because of the growing population density, CM Yogi emphasised the need to widen roadways within the next three years. The convention centre under development was examined by CM. During the meeting, he gave the order to raise the center's parking capacity from 215 to 1000 automobiles from 500.
4. In order to set up the Police Headquarters, CM requested assistance from a better organisation. Every department will collaborate with one another to accomplish this. In order to plan and assign responsibilities for adequate roads, flyovers, and sewers within the following three years, he instructed that a letter be written to the government.
5. CM demanded that the city forest be developed and instructed the police to put an end to chain stealing. It is necessary to upgrade the ITMS for solid waste management and traffic signals.
6. According to Chief Minister Yogi, the Kanpur division should improve its upkeep in addition to planting more vegetation. Installing unnecessary hoardings in the division ought to be prohibited. In addition to creating a land bank on the side of the road, unnecessary monuments should be taken down from the crossroads.
7. In order to establish the city as a new textile hub, a flattened plant is being constructed. Within the following two to three months, the factory will be levelled. From the beginning, Kanpur will develop into a hub for ready-made clothing.
