
The Namo Bharat trains are currently being prepared to travel short distances in big cities in Uttar Pradesh like Lucknow-Kanpur & Meerut-Saharanpur. In addition to improving connection, this will shorten the distance between districts. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav used a virtual news conference to update the public about the UP's projected programs.
These trains will have stoppages at all major stations and AC bogies will also be installed in them. According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Uttar Pradesh has been allocated a budget of Rs 19,858 crore. In addition, the state is receiving an investment of Rs 1.04 thousand crore. Additionally, Amrit Bharat stations and double and triple lines are being developed quickly.
Amrit Bharat Yojana:
According to him, 5200 km of new lines have been installed in Uttar Pradesh during the past ten years. The Amrit Bharat Yojana is being used to create 157 stations. This represents an increase in the stations' capacity. According to him, 14 Vande Bharat trains travel through 20 Uttar Pradesh districts. 10 UP districts are traversed by the Amrit Bharat train on its way from Darbhanga to Delhi.
