Kanpur's Shivani Rajpal Qualifies as International Taekwondo Referee, Receives Global Recognition

This is great news for the city! Shivani Rajpal, a Taekwondo expert in the city, has accomplished a significant milestone. At World Taekwondo's 133rd International Kyorugi Referee Seminar, she passed the international referee exam with flying colours. With this accomplishment, Shivani will be qualified to serve as an official referee in international Taekwondo tournaments.

The World Taekwondo Federation hosted the International Kyorugi Referee Seminar at Pune's Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Stadium from January 17–26. The seminar served as the venue for the International Referee Examination.

Top taekwondo referees came together for an unmatched information and skill sharing event in Pune. An incredible fusion of knowledge, commitment, and the authentic essence of Taekwondo.

Shivani Rajpal Of Kanpur:

She had previously served as a referee in numerous Taekwondo tournaments at the district, divisional, and state levels. According to India Taekwondo treasurer Rajat Aditya Dixit, Shivani received a certificate from World Taekwondo president Chungwon Chou for her accomplishment. She can now officiate Taekwondo tournaments at the international level since she has been approved as an international referee.

She became Kanpur's first international referee, which makes her special.
