Kanpur’s CSJMU (Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University) has reached a noteworthy milestone by receiving the highest grade, A++ from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). With this achievement, CSMJU joins a small group of premier state universities in Uttar Pradesh. The university's incredible rise from a "B" grade in 2006 and 2015 to the highest possible "A++" rating is indicative of its commitment to both overall institutional development and academic quality.

From November 3 to November 5, 2023, an NAAC team toured the CSJMU campus. The university performed well in the evaluation that was conducted based on a variety of higher education-related sectors, including academics, athletics, research, and numerous accomplishments attained by the university.

Under the direction of Vice Chancellor Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak and Chancellor Anandiben Patel, the university's leadership led committees and initiatives to guarantee overall improvements in departmental performance, hostel upkeep, administrative effectiveness, and infrastructure and facilities for instruction.
