Repair Of Ganga Bridge On Lucknow-Kanpur Railway Line Begins & Affects Train Routes

Major Train Routes Affected as Ganga Bridge Repairs Begin on Lucknow-Kanpur Line

Repairs on the Ganga Bridge on the Lucknow-Kanpur route have begun by the Northern Railway Lucknow Division. There will be a 9 hour daily mega traffic stop from March 19th to May 1st as a result of this construction.

74 trains on the routes to Jhansi, Mumbai, Pune, and Gorakhpur would be impacted by the repairs. These consist of important trains such as the Shatabdi Express and Nilanchal. While many trains' routes have been altered, several services have been cancelled.

Numerous trains will continue to be cancelled, including the Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi-Lucknow Intercity, Lucknow-Kasganj Mail and Kanpur Central-Lucknow MEMU will remain cancelled. Trains like Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar, Mau-Anand Vihar and Darbhanga-Anand Vihar will run from Lucknow via Moradabad.

Numerous significant trains, such as the 12571 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Humsafar Express, the 12595 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Humsafar Express, the 22539 Mau-Anand Vihar Superfast Express, and the 12003 Lucknow-New Delhi Shatabdi Express, have had their routes altered in accordance with the Railways' schedule. These trains will travel the route between Lucknow, Moradabad, and Ghaziabad.
