This is the first time an apex trauma centre has been constructed at the city's GSVM Medical College. The medical college management was authorised by CM Yogi to construct this trauma centre. Millions of people in 15 nearby districts, in addition to Kanpur, have received this significant gift from the government.

Patients from 18 districts will have access to state-of-the-art trauma care thanks to the opening of the first trauma department at Kanpur's Apex Trauma Centre and two helipads for air ambulances.

The principal of GSVM Medical College, stated that 102 beds are now being used for patient treatment in the medical college's trauma centre. Many patients must wait for hours when the intensive care unit is crowded. However, because of the complex facilities, the majority of patients choose to receive their treatment in Delhi and Mumbai. This won't happen now, though. Patients will have access to 200 beds and state-of-the-art equipment at the GSVM Medical College Apex Trauma Centre.

It will be a very special trauma centre at Hallet Hospital in Kanpur. The trauma center's roofs will also include helipads so that an air ambulance may transport the patient if necessary. Additionally, a facility will be available for injured individuals to get to the modular OT in two to four minutes. The patient can be transported straight from the lower floor to the OT theatre by airlift right away.
