Mark your calendars because Kanpur Literature Society is back with the third edition of Kanpur
Literature Festival on 4 th -5 th December, 2021 at Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management
and Research, Kamla Nagar, Kanpur.

The literature festival is going to be bigger this year with many notable attendees from the field
of arts, poetry, literature and cinema. An exciting line-up of events is also scheduled for the
participants.

The inaugural event will be an awarded film- Kaagaz Ki Kashti, on the famous singer-composer
Jagjit Singh which is directed by Brahmanand S. Singh. A talk session with the director, Mr.
Singh will be followed after the screening.

Apart from this, the festival will be hosting a meet and greet with famous celebrities from the
entertainment industry like actresses Meghna Malik and Sushmita Mukherjee for the participants
to know more about their experiences.

Many renowned artists from across the country will be attending and showcasing their talent in
the festival to add to its glory. Famous musicians like Dr. Bipin Kumar and Pandit Amarnath Jha
will be presenting the uplifting classical Shiva-Stotra Stuti accompanied by Lord Shiva's
favourite musical instruments- 'Shankha' and 'Damru.'

Other events like Krishna Katha, Open Mic Poetry and Toss of a Coin will also be the highlight
of the programme.

The festival will be live streamed on the official Facebook page and You Tube channel of
Kanpur Literature festival. Art exhibitions, food stalls, installations and book shops will be
spread throughout the festival space to attract one and all.
