Kanpur’s iconic Green Park Stadium is set to host a special cricketing spectacle with the  Operation Sindoor Cup. It is going to be a thrilling clash between Army and MP XI. This unique match is more than just a game—it's a celebration of courage, camaraderie, and the spirit of the armed forces. According to MP Shri Ramesh Awasthi, the Army vs. MP XI Sindoor Cup match will last 20–20 overs.

Brigadier Hasan will lead the Army XI team, and MP Manoj Tiwari will lead the MP team. Twenty thousand complimentary passes to witness the game will be given out. MP Shri Ramesh Awasthi urged everyone in the stands to watch the game wearing the tricolour. An hour-long cultural presentation will take place following the game. The well-known vocalist of "Ram Aayenge, Angna Sajayenge," Swati Mishra, will perform her charming song.

The gates will open for spectators to enter on June 29 at 4 p.m. Cultural events will begin at 5:00 p.m. The match is being seen as a symbolic bridge between the armed forces and the public, where cricket becomes a platform for unity, remembrance, and celebration.
