Baba Anandeshwar Temple permat is one of the oldest and famous temples in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It is located on the banks of Ganga river. Lord Shiva is the object of devotion in this temple. This temple receives pilgrims from all around the world who come to pray and ask for blessings.
On February 26, thousands of worshippers will flock to the Anandeshwar temple in Civil Lines in honour of Mahashivratri. After conducting Lord Shiva's Jalabhishek, they will take the ghat back home to avoid any issues.
On Mahashivratri, the temple will have extensive security measures in place:
1. At the Anandeshwar temple, a one-way system has been introduced for the first time. From one side, devotees will enter the temple, and from the other, they will return by the ghat. Inside the temple, there will be LIU employees, PAC, Home Guards, and police.
2. According to district administration authorities, PRV, ambulance, and fire department vehicles will also be stationed in the temples to guarantee that devotees visiting the site do not encounter any issues. Additionally, plainclothes police will be used. The staff will respond to any information or issue right away. CCTV cameras have also been installed at the temple. It will also document all of the devotees' activities.
3. In addition to the city's Anandeshwar temple, DM Jitendra Pratap Singh stated that Jageshwar, Khereshwar, Siddhnath, and Vankhandeshwar had also undergone significant security measures. No devotee will experience any difficulties, he claimed. Numerous locations will also have large screens and LEDs placed.
