Akasa Air will now conduct air services from Kanpur Airport in addition to Indigo. Sources claim that an Akasa team examined the terminal building on15th March. It's possible that starting on April 2, there will be one flight each from Delhi and Mumbai. Both flights are scheduled to depart in the morning. Flights to Delhi and Mumbai in the morning have long been demanded in Kanpur. The flight schedule will also be released soon. Isn’t that just great?

In June 2023, services began operating out of Kanpur Airport's new terminal. Following the declaration made by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, private airline Indigo began operating flights to Delhi.
