Good news alert Kanpur peeps!

Kanpur residents may soon be able to take advantage of three additional destination flights. The Airport Authority is considering starting flights to Ahmedabad and Kolkata as well as one early morning trip to Delhi. Aviation businesses are assessing their resources for these trips, and the proposal has been launched.

At the moment, Kanpur airport offers flights to Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Delhi. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday are the four days that the Hyderabad flight is in operation. Three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, the Bengaluru flight is in operation.

The addition of an Ahmedabad flight from Kanpur and the revival of the Kolkata route are being requested by the public, business community, and others. The Airport Authority has responded by sending the plan to Indigo. According to insiders, the authority has also promised improved amenities and future airport growth.

The director of the airport, Sanjay Kumar, stated that efforts were being made to start at least one flight service following the Kumbh.
